Inspirational Christian Poetry by Linda is a work in progress born out of necessity. When no one entered my poetry contest, I decided to write one myself and have been writing poetry ever since.
He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High, shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
"He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep, to gain what he cannot lose."
I am your classic late bloomer; really, I'm serious. I just started successful internet marketing in March 2006. The more I write for my site, the more I want to write for my site. I started a teen poetry contest because I wanted to get responses from my readers. It is nice to know that someone is really out there! When no entries came in, I wrote my own poem; then I wrote another, and another. Now I'm hooked. I plan on continuing to write poetry, so be sure and check back regularly to see what is new.
Ten years later (now that is hard to believe), my site has taken several different twists and turns. It has actually been years since I have tried my hand at writing poetry. In the past six years, I have written 630 devotions from the Psalms, which have appeared on my Daily Bible Devotions blog, and then put them in movie form with flower backgrounds and my narration. Links to all of these devotions appear on my Devotions from the Psalms pages.
My goal now is to bring all of my pages up to date and then to continue to write more devotionals. In the process of my writing, I hope to add more poetry to this page as well.
Thanks for joining my journey. May God bless you as you grow more and more like Him. I look forward to meeting you, if not in this life, then in the glorious life to come!
