Keep You from Falling
Jude

Keep You from Falling, Jude. Who is this God we serve? He is the one who is able to keep us from falling. What a blessing! But that is not all! He is also able to present us as faultless before God!

Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, to the only wise God our Savior, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.
Jude 1:24 & 25, KJV

Keep You from Falling
Jude

The book of Jude, with only one chapter, is one of the shortest books in the New Testament. We are told in verse 3 that Jude wrote this letter to encourage Christians to contend for the faith. The benediction from the last two verses in Jude is filled with power and joy for the Christian, and may even be considered the best benediction written.

Who is this God we serve? He is the one who is able to keep us from falling. What a blessing! If you are like me, I am constantly stumbling through my Christian life like a toddler who is often down more than he/she is up. Christ is always there to sustain us and keep us from truly falling away from Him.

As if that is not enough, because He shed His blood on the cross, paying for sins which He never committed, He is able to present us as faultless before the throne of God. Faultless! Do we have any right to stand before the throne of God in robes of pure white as though we have never sinned? Not by ourselves; only through the righteousness of Christ, our Lord and Savior. Yes, imagine the joy!

It is to this God we pour our full allegiance. He is the only true and wise God, He is our only Savior, and to Him, alone, belongs glory and majesty as well as dominion and power, both now and forever.

Who has ever served a God who has done so much for His people? Those who serve the gods and idols of this day, serving man rather than the Creator, have no such hope. As Christians, let us pray that we will faithfully contend for the faith as encouraged by Jude, that others may come to know this awesome God.

God's grace which has been granted to His people is truly beyond comprehension. Grace: God's Redemption At Christ's Expense, causes even the angels to fold their wings in awe. Our God provides for all of our needs. During this life on earth He watches over us in such a way that not even a hair falls from our heads apart from the will and knowledge of God. Then, when our time on this earth is done, God will gently shepherd us into His kingdom where we will live with Him forever!

Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, to the only wise God our Savior, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.

Amen! Even so, come quickly Lord Jesus!
