First Requirement What images come to mind when you read the title, "Christian Business Advice"? What is the difference between Christian Business Advice versus just plain business advice? Why does it matter? These are important questions to answer; it does not take long when surfing the net to realize that there are tons of "opportunities" that seem too good to be true. How can I tell a credible opportunity from a scam? Before we get to the specifics, I would like to ask you a question. What is your goal? Did you know that the first priority in building a business is making sure your heart is totally submitted and dedicated to the Lord? After all, who is really building this business, you or the Lord? they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain. Psalm 127:1 Go to God first; pray for wisdom and guidance, and pray that His name would be glorified in everything you do. Without Christ, you will not succeed! The more money you start with, the more money you can lose! I recommend starting with a small investment and letting that money work for you; it really does not take much money to start a successful internet business!
Next, ask yourself, "What are my interests, what gifts have I been given by the Lord, and am I willing to work hard to build a business to the honor and glory of the Lord?
Let me tell you my story! I have always had a desire to build my own business, but did not have a clue where to start. In the past twenty years I have tried many different MLM business opportunities, some labeled "Christian," and some not. I have finally come to an understanding of what is good for me--I think my family, particularly my husband, came to this understanding much sooner than I did. Unless you are one of the first 50 people involved in the multi-level marketing business, you are probably going to be making plenty of money for the people above you, but very little for yourself. I have worked with two particular Christian-based multi-level-marketing companies, and have come to the conclusion that I have lost so much more money than I ever earned. After two years, I think I have given them both a good try. That may not be the same for you. If you are involved in a MLM business and are doing well - go for it!

I already am a self-employed individual as a piano instructor. God has given me a wonderful love for music, and for working with children. I am so very blessed to be able to combine the gifts God has given to me with a need to earn an income. As I am getting older, however, I know that I will not be able to teach piano forever. So, I began looking for something to supplement my music studio income. Where is the first place you should look? Look at yourself! What do you like to do? What are your God-given abilities? Most people have everything they need to build a successful internet business by just answering those two questions. With those two questions answered, I would now like to direct you to an amazing opportunity. I am not a person who has any great knowledge of computers, and although I had tried my had at putting up a couple of sites using Yahoo, I knew I had found my answer with Site Build It! Building a web site is hard work.
. . . was their philosophy of putting up a web site! They explained that the internet is all about information. You can successfully build a site with good content, which will cause people to come looking for you, and, when you pre-sell them with your good content, they will be ready to purchase from you or follow through with whatever monetization model you are using. OK -- sounds good so far, but remember, I am a novice.
Now we are getting to the really good stuff! All of the training is FREE! I am a "do it yourself" person; if I have the instructions, I can do it. And, best of all, you can get the training before you even decide whether or not this is for you. I'll bet you want to know the cost? That is the best part--the cost of an SBI web site is only $299 a year! This is very similar to the cost for a Yahoo business web site -- but, SBI gives you more than a web site -- they provide free training and tons of resources to use on your site. Remember, you have all of the tools you need. The Internet is all about information. Build a site filled with information using a topic that interests you. From there, follow the steps given by Site Build It! to turn that site into a profitable business. It will not happen overnight, but if you follow the instruction you have been given, use the tools provided for you, visit the forums frequently to find out how others are solving any problems that arise, and, above all, Go to the Lord, ask Him to guide you, and He will send answers.
