Everything New Again

A Monthly Holiday Devotions Ezine with a New Year's devotional for the month of January entitled, Everything New Again.

I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws.
Ezekiel 36:26-27, NIV

Everything New Again

Another year is gone! Whatever has been done, is done, whatever has been said, has been said, and whatever did not get done, did not get done! The only thing to do is to reflect upon 2008, and plot a course for 2009.

Ah, but we need not despair, because we have a chance for a fresh start. The New Year has come with everything new again. We can keep doing what we liked about the past, and change those things we did not like. We can make new goals and new resolutions.

The book of Ezekiel reminds us that, for Christians, everything IS new again. When we come to Christ we are given a new heart and a new spirit, which causes everything to change. We now WANT to walk according to God's statutes, and we WANT to obey His laws.

I am reminded of a chorus we used to sing years ago.

Things are different now,
Something happened to me,
When I gave my heart to Jesus.

Things are different now,
I was changed it must be,
When I gave my heart to Him.

Things I loved before have passed away.
Things I love far more have come to stay.

Things are different now,
I was changed it must be,
When I gave my heart to Him.

So as you think of the new year and make those New Year's resolutions, stop and consider how your life has changed since becoming a Christian.

Are things different now? Is everything new again? I would encourage you to think about your Christian life and ask God to help you show forth His glory in everything you do and say.

Happy New Year!

God Bless You,

For more devotions check my Daily Bible Devotions where we are currently looking at Bible doxologies. It is interesting to look at some verses that we sometimes just read over without much thought, and really ponder their meaning.

Praise God, from Whom all blessings flow!

My Scriptures business is really growing as well; if you have any inkling at all about doing a successfull internet marketing business--it does not come any easier than this!

The first goal of this company, called Scriptures is to spread the Gospel to as many people as possible by putting Bible verses on all of the products they sell. The offer an impressive range of natural vitamins and supplements, as well as hair and body care products, and, of course, Bible study CD's.

The cost, therefore is almost non-existent! Just buy products that you would normally buy, from them instead of elsewhere.

If you want to take the time to find your own downline, through friends, neighbors, and cold calling, go right ahead. (I hate doing all of the above.)

But, if you would rather let them do the work for you, you have the opportunity of joining three different advertising co-ops based upon the amount of money you are willing to invest each month. (It's unbelievably cheap! I know because I have been foolish enough to join companies that cost over $100 a month.)

The advertising is done by a professional advertising company who puts ads in Christian magazines and Christian web sites. As people respond to the ads, the people at Scriptures build your downline. Your only responsiblity, then, is to call these people so you can answer their questions and encourage them in their own business.

Now that kind of calling I can do! After all, I love to talk, and these people are ready to listen.

I have found that their predictions are very accurate, my downline is growing. God is so good!

Everything this company has said is true; I am getting about the number of people in my downline as they said I would. (It's nice to know someone who actually tried it out before you take the plunge!)

My New Blog!!

Speaking of everything new again, I have a new blog called All Nature Sings which features my love of photography (OK, I know I am not a professional, but I have fun with it anyway) and my love of writing devotionals.
